PT. Kubota Indonesia in cooperation with the Diponegoro University Faculty of Engineering College Student Executive Board, Semarang on Saturday, 18 May 2013 has organized a mangrove tree planting events as much as in 1972 trees. This activities with the theme “Save Our Earth with 1972 Pieces of Mangroves” which held in the Bedono Village, Sayung District, Demak regency, Central Java, wass one of a series of events to welcome the 40th anniversary of PT. Kubota Indonesia.

Board of directors, management and employees of PT. Kubota Indonesia and the students were very enthusiastic in participating in this activity. With the mangrove tree planting activity is expected to prevent abrasion and erosion around the coast and also raise awareness to all of us to always keep the environment.

In this event also marked the signing of planting 1972 mangrove tree on marble stone between PT. Kubota Indonesia, represented by President Director, Mr. Yodo Kawase and Faculty of Engineering College Student Executive Board by the Vice Dean III, Prof. Ir. Abdullah. MS, PhD.

This activity is one of concern of companies on society and the environment. With the slogan “For Earth, For Life”, PT. Kubota Indonesia has committed to participate in protecting the environment for a better life.
